Glorifying God, Equipping Believers & Sharing Jesus Christ

“The church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit to continue the task of reaching the lost and discipling the saved, helping them become fully devoted followers of Christ.” Ephesians 4:1-16

Our goal is to put Christ at the center of our lives

Cornerstone is an independent Bible church that believes in the Word of God as our guiding authority. We want to share the Gospel with those who have not yet received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior while also helping believers reach maturity in their walk with Christ.

  • Vision: to reach out to our community with the message of Jesus Christ
  • Desire: to put Christ at the center of our lives, and to be a group of committed disciples who foster more disciples
  • Mission: to take the truths of God’s Word and apply them to our lives

We were drawn into the depth and width of the sermon. It was plain and simple right out of the text of the Good Book. No frills. No filler. Solid sermon backed with quantifiable knowledge of the history of the time, logistics, and circumstances in which all these stories were taking place. I love this kind of story telling. It really helps me to form in my mind what my pastor is trying to convey when there is context to scripture. As a result, the scripture lessons stay with me and I can remember and recall them with ease.
