Hi. I’m Travis Smith. My wife, Shannon and I have been married for over 15 years. We have two sons, Ethan and Klaes. As a family, we enjoy a variety of activities, from races at Knoxville, to baseball games, to board games around the table. While we may not all like doing these things, we just love being together. Also, family dinners around the table are important to us. We catch up with each other about the day, laugh (A LOT), and spend time in God’s Word. If you could spy on me in my house at any given time, you would probably either catch me watching the Cubs, Blackhawks, a movie, listening to old LP’s, or reading a book. I have a goal of reading 40 books a year. Yup, I really am that boring.
Prior to moving to Newton, we lived in Altoona, IA. I still travel to downtown Des Moines each day where I work as a Senior Analyst for one of Iowa’s many insurance companies. It is my desire to teach people practical ways to interpret and apply Scripture in their lives. I am excited to see what God will do at Cornerstone Bible Fellowship.
